Promoting Diversity in Planetary Science, one Wikipedia article at a time



The Planetary Science Wiki Edit-a-thon is an ongoing project that highlights diversity within the planetary science community.

It is led by the Europlanet Society’s Diversity Committee in collaboration with WikiMujeres, Women in Red, WikiDonne, Wikimedia Belgium, and 500 Women Scientists.

Wikipedia training sessions led by Wikimedia Belgium (Feb 18, Feb 25, Mar 4). Hybrid format, online 14:00–16:00 CET

Regular Wiki edit-a-thon to search resources, edit & translate page

Final showcase at EPSC-DPS 2025 in Helsinki

October-December

Regular Monthly meetings to edit & translate Wiki biographies

The primary language of the Wiki-Edit-a-thon is English, but Wikipedians contributing articles in other languages are also welcome.
