Access for Industry to Europlanet Facilities

Europlanet provides access for industrial partners to carry out technological validation and testing.

Europlanet’s distributed infrastructure offers simulation and testing facilities for a range of environments that planetary and space missions may encounter through launch to their destination in orbit or on a planetary surface.

Time on facilities can be offered at a negotiated rate or through a call for opportunities to support all travel and local accommodation costs (e.g. the Transnational Access programme or industry-specific calls).

By accessing Europlanet facilities, companies and SMEs can increase the value of their technology by:

  • Increasing the Technology Readiness Level (TRL)
  • Understanding how instrumentation operates under realistic planetary conditions
  • Identifying potential issues.
