As part of our ongoing evaluation of Europlanet activities, we collect data from facilities and users of the Europlanet Distributed Research and Technology Infrastructure (RTI), including participants in the Transnational Access (TA) programme.

Indicators for Europlanet Distributed RTI Impact

Why do we need this? Europlanet collects quantatative and qualitative data to evaluate the impact of its activities on individuals, institutions and the wider planetary science community. Not only has this been a condition of funding by the European Commission for past projects, it also helps us to shape and prioritise the programmes we offer through the Europlanet non-profit association, and to make the case for future funding through grants. In particular, it is critical for future applications for Transnational Access (TA) funding that outputs (such as publications) based on work from all TA programmes (current, Europlanet 2024 RI, 2020 RI etc) are reported. We do not expect that every site or facility will have something to report for every type of activity but we need to ensure that we know about activity that does occur.

Instructions: Please fill in the form below with reference to activity in the past 12 months. If, however, you were involved in earlier phases of Europlanet projects (e.g. Europlanet 2024 RI or Europlanet 2020 RI) and have new activities to report, please also include them below (you can find the listings of everything entered to date on the European Commission’s CORDIS results pages for Europlanet 2020 RI or Europlanet 2024 RI projects). You also need to note which RI an output is most related to (e.g. 2020, 2024).

It is also key that each Europlanet Distributed RTI facility helps to collect feedback from visitors at the conclusion of their visits, by having them fill in an online feedback form. This form can be found here and we will also send the link to you and to the visitor via e-mail.

Many thanks for your help!
