Call for Southeast Europe Regional Hub Chair

EXTENDED DEADLINE: 15 OCTOBER 2025

Chairing one of Europlanet’s Regional Hubs is a unique opportunity to lead change and foster collaboration in your local scientific community. Europlanet seeks applications to chair the Southeast European Europlanet Regional Hubs.

As Regional Hub Chair, you will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of Europlanet members in your region, and representing your local community at monthly meetings of all Europlanet’s Regional Hubs. Furthermore, we encourage you to facilitate regular internal Hub meetings and coordinate bespoke activities to suite your community. Every Hub has access to an annual discretionary fund of €1,000 provided by the Europlanet Association to support local planetary science activities.

We are here to support our new Hub Chairs and will be on-hand to help by providing guidance and infrastructure where necessary to create a smooth transition.
