EPEC@EPSC Program – EPSC 2026
EPEC@EPSC events will kick off with AbGradEPEC’26 on Sunday, 6th September 2026, marking the latest event in our long-running series of collaborations with AbGradE! From there, each day will offer exciting chances to meet new people, share ideas, build connections, and of course — dive deeper into the world of planetary science and astronomy. Find our exciting lineup for 2026 below:
AbGradEPEC ’26
EPEC and AbGradE are back with another joint event on Sunday 6th September, just before EPSC in The Hague, Netherlands!
We kick off with a relaxed speed science-ing icebreaker, before an early-career symposium, where attendees are offered an informal and welcoming space to share their research!
Abstract submission will open in the first half of June, with a deadline of 15th July. Registration will close on 6th August. Stay tuned for further updates!

Mentoring at EPSC 2026
The Europlanet Early Career (EPEC) network invites you to participate in the 8th edition of the Mentoring@EPSC program. The mentoring will provide one-on-one meetings between students, PhD candidates, postdocs, and established researchers for informal conversation and exchange of experiences. All of this with the goal of offering early careers a better experience at EPSC 2026 and a unique networking opportunity!
The deadline for signing up as either a mentor or mentee will be announced soon!
Sign up as a MENTEE, if any of these apply:
- this is your first in-person conference, or first EPSC, and you are looking for guidance to successfully navigate EPSC 2026,
- you are a student looking for opportunities to get support in networking and career development,
- you are keen to meet an experienced researcher from a similar scientific field.
We will notify you of your assigned mentor approximately two weeks prior to the conference. Meetings will be arranged on your independent basis and you will be asked to meet with your mentor in person at least once during the conference.
Sign up as a MENTOR, if:
- you are attending EPSC 2026 in person, you have experience with attending numerous international conferences, feel confident navigating them, and are willing to share your own knowledge, experience and networking tips with an early career professional.
We will notify you of your assigned mentee(s) approximately two weeks prior to the conference. Meetings will be arranged on your independent basis and you will be asked to meet with your mentee in person at least once during the conference.
