- Europlanet Transnational Access – The call for visits to Europlanet facilities will open in late 2025 with a closing date in early 2026 (visits to take place before December 2026).
- Ireland-UK Hub Research Visit Funding Scheme 2025 – This new funding scheme from the Ireland-UK Hub is designed to strengthen collaboration between Irish and British scientists in planetary science and related fields. A call for applications is coming soon.
Europlanet Funding
Being part of the Europlanet Community opens up a range of funding opportunities:
Europlanet Society Committee Funding Scheme (Open to Members).
Europlanet Public Engagement Funding Scheme (Open to all).
Information on EC, ESA and other planetary-related calls (Accessible by Members).
Bursaries
Europlanet awards bursaries for early careers and researchers from Under-represented states to attend the Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC). The application process for bursaries is integrated into the registration form for EPSC.

Support
The Europlanet organises a series of monthly webinars on topics to support Members with applications for funding.
Prof Nigel Mason has prepared a short overview for Europlanet Society Members on the Horizon Europe: ‘Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area’ Work programme and the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) Programme for 2022 (2023).
