Early Career Support Working Group
The Early Career Support Working Group of the EPEC Network aims to provide a platform that will serve as a source for useful information to young scientists active in different areas of planetary and space research and engineering. We are work on building this extensive platform during this year and we are happy to hear from young scientists on how to expand our efforts. Currently, we are working on covering the following aspects:
- A searchable database of internationally active planetary scientists. Are you a planetary scientist or space engineer?
- A database of different funding opportunities for early career scientists (master, PhD and postdoc level; fellowships, etc). Let us know if you aware of any funding opportunity or openings at your university or institute that would benefit the early careers in planetary and space field.
- Support material that can help young researchers face early career challenges (e.g. relationship with mentors, supervisors, communication at a conference, interviews, how to write a CV, power of habits, mental health, etc). Keep checking this page for more updates on this.
